The Listening Centre has won Small Business of the Year at the Sutton, Lichfield and Tamworth Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards, celebrated at Drayton Manor Hotel.
The Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) provider stood out among a record number of entries in this year’s competition, which was sponsored by Crown Highways in Burntwood.
Sharon McCormick, founder of The Listening Centre, said: “This award highlights the incredible collaborative partnerships we have with the local business community across the Midlands. It recognises our commitment to helping organisations and their employees flourish.”
Starting with a single District Council customer who remains loyal today, The Listening Centre now supports organisations ranging from small charities to NHS Trusts. Sharon’s unique approach draws from her experience in HM Forces, HR, and counselling.
“The traditional EAP model often falls short when supporting complex workplace challenges,” Sharon explained. “Our person-centred, trauma-informed approach creates bespoke wellbeing services that truly understand and address both organisational needs and individual experiences.”
