The Listening Centre’s Critical Incident support, otherwise referred to
as Psychological First Aid, provides professional, respectful care and
support to individuals and teams following a stressful or traumatic event.
The level of trauma that a person, or team, experiences can range greatly
and depends on their own individual interpretation of the event and prior life
experiences. This is why a tailored and personalised approach to Critical
Incident Support is crucial to the safe and healthy return to work, and life,
of an individual.
Our services are aimed at responding to the affected team, or individual, as
soon as practical so that the risks of post-traumatic stress, and other
stresses, are reduced.
At The Listening Centre, we follow a structured psychological first aid
process for an individual, or group of employees, to discuss, reflect and
