With another impending re-structure about to take place, the HR Manager was mindful of just how de-stabilising the last re-structure was for staff at all levels and was keen to put a framework of preventative and supportive measures in place to both equip managers with insight and strategies as well as support employees through times of uncertainty.
The organisation wanted to adopt an ‘Early intervention and Prevention’ approach to provide those facilitating the re-structure that they had confidence in their abilities to cope with the fall-out of what was to come. The HR Manager comments: “Having worked with The Listening Centre for many years, we had complete confidence that they would deliver a training course that was a best fit approach for our organisation”.
The Listening Centre worked closely with key stakeholders to design a psycho-educational course with particular emphasis on how people react to change as well as strategies for Middle and Senior Managers to provide support during the consultation period and beyond
